Featuring more than 1,800 animals including elephants, zebras, lions, tigers, and a lively otter exhibit, Baton Rouge Zoo is filled with fascinating animal species from Louisiana and around the globe. The zoo offers hands-on animal demonstrations, summer camps for the kids and an array of special events held throughout the year, such as live musical performances and a special Mother's Day celebration. It is located just north of the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport, near Clark Park Golf Course.

Adults $6; Seniors $4; Children (2-12) $2.50; Children 1 and under are free.
