The 21,000-seat arena was originally created as a memorial to those who lost their lives in the World Wars and the Korean War. The stadium is located near the Governor's Mansion, north of Spanish Town Park. Today, the stadium is used mainly for high school football games and concerts, though it is known to host the occasional monster truck rally.
