I have been a patient of Dr. Collins for some quite some time, as well as my entire family. But I would just like to say that Dr. Collins Sr. is not a good general dentist, although cosemtic dentistry is what he is best at. I had a root canal done by Collins Sr. a year ago and it was horrible! I had clearly told him that I was unable to take any narcotic pain medicine post-op, and when I was leaving he gave me a prescription of lortab. NOt only did he not listen to my request, I later suffered from infection under my rootcanal that made me very sick. So I went back to get him to fix it and he refered me to a rootcanal specialist. I was disgusted that he refused to fix what he had done wrong in the first place, and then told me that he wasn't the best to do the work! I ended up paying double what he had charged me for retreatment. I will never step foot into his building ever again. I would not recommend this dentist to ANYONE who is looking for anything but cosmetic dental work.
