I went to Dr. Politz when I moved to Baton Rouge, and had my first set of x-rays and whatnot done with him. They found I had a couple of cavities, so I made another appointment to have them filled. They automatically booked me with Dr. Politz's (much younger and much less experienced) associate, Dr. Anderson. When I went in to get my cavities filled, he was so, so rough and didn't really seem like he cared what he was doing at all. I've had two cavities done before by my previous dentist where I used to live, and it was never this rough. Now, 6 months later, I have horrible throbbing pain and sensitivity in one of the teeth he filled. I went to another dentist to have it looked at, who said there is a fracture in the tooth, and now I'll have to have a crown put on and possibly a root canal! I have no doubt that the fracture was because Dr. Anderson was practically punching me in the mouth when he was drilling. Of course it's going to fracture if you're drilling that rough! I would not recommend going to Dr. Politz or Dr. Anderson. Trust me, you'll end up paying for it in more ways than one if you do.
